CARL BRAZLEY — PRINCIPAL

​

Carl Brazley is an award-winning entrepreneur with 30 years of experience as a business owner. Carl’s enterprises reach across multiple disciplines, demonstrating his adeptness as a visionary and a leader. 

​

In 2017, Carl launched 7PM Group, a certified MBE, as a functionally integrated firm with special expertise in diversity consulting, project management, and strategic sourcing of products and services, with an emphasis on the construction industry. 

Carl’s entry into the construction-related marketplace follows decades of experience as a marketing and communications professional. Carl started Mo’ Better Marketing LLC in 1995, serving a wide variety of clients across the business spectrum. In 2012, Carl expanded his marketing and communications footprint with the purchase of New West LLC, a full-service marketing/communications firm, which was founded as The Wenz-Neely Company in 1971.

Prior to launching Mo’ Better, Carl was co-owner of a successful architectural and engineering firm.

​

Carl’s career experience also includes 12 years as a professional football player in the NFL and CFL.

​

Because of his years as a pro athlete, Carl has extensive experience leveraging sports, media and entertainment connections to produce successful marketing campaigns, collaborative ventures and multi-faceted events that benefit clients ranging from small businesses to educational institutions to nonprofit organizations to large public companies. Through the years, he has served as a publicist and marketer for several professional athletes.

A Louisville, Ky., native, Carl has a bachelor’s degree in marketing & communications from Western Kentucky University and is a graduate of the University of Miami Executive MBA Program.

​

Carl has served on many boards and community groups whose missions meet his focus on advancement of youth, small and minority-owned businesses, education and charitable outreach. He also has served as keynote speaker and presenter for numerous organizations. Carl serves on the University of Louisville President’s Council, First Baptist Church of Jeffersontown Deacon Board, Waste Management District 109 Board. He is a former member of the Community Foundation of Louisville Board of Directors.

VINCEL ANTHONY — PRESIDENT

As top official of 7PM Group, Vincel Anthony has more than 15 years of experience as a Senior Diversity & Business Development Consultant. As a diversity leader in corporate America, Vincel has received numerous National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) awards. Examples include the 2016 TriState (KY, TN, WV) MSDC Large MBE firm of the Year and 2015 Southern Indiana MBE firm of the Year. A member of the Tri-State Minority Supplier Diversity Council (TSMSDC), Vincel serves on the TSMSDC’s Board of Advisors.

​

In the past he served on the TSMSDC Minority Business Enterprise Input Community (MBEIC), and he has worked with the Ohio MSDC, MidState (IN, MO) MSDC and GMSDC (GA).

​

Vincel is a member of the NAACP and the Western Kentucky University Alumni & Hall of Fame Board of Directors. He served on the Kentucky Diversity Chamber of Commerce and is a former member of the Louisville Urban League Board of Directors and the Greater Louisville Inc. Board of Directors. He's an active member of Bates Memorial Baptist Church's Men's Council and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity (mentoring youth & serving the community).

In addition to his varied roles as an authority on diversity and inclusion, Vincel is a talented and sought-after information-technology professional. He has more than 25 years of executive business development experience in the IT field, having worked for employers including United Parcel Service Inc. (at its Atlanta corporate headquarters), Cadre IT Security (Cincinnati) and V-Soft Consulting (Louisville).

​

His career experience also includes 20 years of combined experience in construction and real estate. He has previously served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Partner in the Rafiki Group LLC, a real estate investment, general contracting and project management business. Vincel played football at WKU on an athletic scholarship & signed as a Free-Agent with the Denver Broncos.

​

A native of Louisville, Ky., Vincel has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University and a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from Trinity Southern University.
